Florida & Golf
Florida is famous for its golf courses.
Nowhere you will find as many golf courses within a short distance.
Our house is located at the resort of the Lakeside GC & CC. Lakeside is a very alternating course, with many old oak trees. Not only does it have long and wide fairways, but there are also some holes near the wood where the golfer needs more precision the score well.
By its rich flora and fauna the course has a very natural character.
Citrus Springs also is a beautiful old golf course. Located only 15 minutes from Lakeside.
On Citrus Spings the houses are even more spread over the resort, so the course gives you an even more natural feeling. The fairways are on a sloping landscape.
After your round it is a pleasure to have a drink at the terrace.
On about a 30 minute ride is the Miona Lake Golfclub.
De course is a little short and the houses are closer to the fairways.
In Ocala you have the Silver Springs Shores Golf and Country Club. This course has both open parts and parts that are closer to the houses.
Due to large lakes this course is a good challenge.
Florida has too many courses to name here. This is a good link to find a lot of them.
